The Palos Verdes Library District and its community partners Marymount California University, the Palos Verdes Art Center, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, the Peninsula Friends of the Library, and Sustainable Palos Verdes Schools are pleased to announce that the 7th Annual One Book, One Peninsula program will feature New York Times best-seller The Martian by Andy Weir.  

On Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 11 a.m., Mr. Weir will discuss his book followed by a Q & A session at the Palos Verdes Art Center located at 5504 W. Crestridge RD, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. Pre-signed copies of The Martian will be available for purchase. Registration is required. Free online registration begins February 4.

Parking at the Art Center is limited. Parking will be available at the Peninsula Community Church, 5640 W. Crestridge Rd, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. Street parking will be available on Crenshaw Blvd. and West Crestridge Rd. Parking will also be available at the Peninsula Center Library. Shuttle buses will transport passengers between the Peninsula Center Library and the Art Center between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm. Pick up will be on the Deep Valley side of the library.
