National Writing Month workshop with Jennie Nash [Navigating the Path to Publishing]

PVLD is your headquarters for November’s National Writing Month. Please join us for workshops, write-ins, networking with local writers, the opportunity to read your work in public, and the publication of an anthology with a copy going to every single participant who qualifies. Whether you are an aspiring writer or an already published novelist, write fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or short stories, all writers are welcome!   

Events are free & will take place in the Peninsula Center Library community room. If you would like to participate in this community writing event, registration begins on October 20 by contacting Joshua at jpeck@pvld.org or 310.377.9584 ext. 214. The deadline to register is October 31st.


Workshops:

November 2 from 6-7:15 PM: Siel Ju "Finding, Connecting, and Engaging with Your Readers"

November 7 from 6-7:15 PM: Kate Gale "The Ins & Outs of Editing"

November 11 from 11-12:15: Jennie Nash "Navigating the Path to Publishing"


Write ins:

November 14 from 1-3 PM

November 18 from 3-4:30 PM

November 29 from 1-3 PM


A write in is simply quiet time in the library where writers can work on their material and network with other writers participating in PVLD's National Writing Month Program.


Registration is not required to attend workshops, but to qualify for the anthology and reading, registration is required and each registered participant must attend at least three of the six scheduled workshops or write-ins.
