Ellen Cantor is a fine art photographer whose images explore time, loss, and memory. Ellen documents the artifacts of the past in order to enrich the present.
TIME & MEMORY: In Conversation draws together Ellen's work from multiple photographic series, creating new meanings through side-by- side pairings. Just as a library is composed of multiple sections, each ostensibly containing separate bodies of
knowledge, which nonetheless inform one another, so too, this exhibition draws new parallels by combining art in novel ways.
Ellen will be presenting a talk on Dec. 2 at 2 pm about her work. In her talk, Ellen will explore her photographic journey and the influence other photographers had on her work. A reception with light refreshments will follow the talk.
