This is Malin’s first solo show and is a mix of her early paintings and a new series of paintings exploring aerial views.
Malin Rigby Bilgic was born in Sweden, spent 15 years in Istanbul, and moved Palos Verdes in 2015. Her love for painting and drawing started very early but it took many years to actually try out oil painting, which is now her medium and her passion. There is not a specific style or a red thread in her work, instead her personality and lifestyle are shown in her pieces. As an artrepreneur, she creates and hosts art events for children, hosts Paint & Pint events throughout the South Bay, and visits senior homes for painting sessions. She also volunteers at her children's schools to add more art into the students lives.
