Wild Birds and Still Life Paintings by Angela Aylward

Angela Aylward is originally from Los Angeles California and has lived in New York , Belgium and England.

She is a traditional artist painting primarily in oil and acrylic. She enjoys working with materials and techniques.

Her interest in the Flemish and Dutch painters inspired her move to Antwerp, Belgium where she was able to study the history of oil painting in the atmosphere where the masters lived and worked.

Angela has held exhibits in the US and abroad including California, New York, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom. Her paintings are in public and private collections.

Studies include: Royal Academy of fine art Antwerp, Belgium, The Art students league of New York , California State University Long Beach California, BFA degree in Fine art Illustration.

 “My intention as a painter is to explore old master techniques and classical approaches to painting   with a contemporary awareness”.
