It's the 10th anniversary of the Living History Museum of African American heroes!
Check out this cool YouTube video from past participants on what the Living History Museum is all about: https://bit.ly/2RQfN7r
Participants select their favorite African Amreican hero from the past or present and share all about their lives. Participants gain excellent presentation and research skills, learn the importance of history, become civically engaged, work with community mentors, and of course, have fun while being creative and learning about African American history.
Students of all backgrounds in grades K-8 from all school districts may participate.
