Let’s come together for some handicrafts and good conversation! The Crafter’s Circle is Palos Verdes Library District’s established crafter’s group. The members are currently knitting and crocheting baby hats, scarves, and blankets to donate to local charities. Visitors are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials, though some supplies may be available on site. Informal knitting/crochet lessons are offered. The Multiplex: American cinema at the Peninsula Center Library Rolling Hills Estates, CA –Join us for PVLD’s The Multiplex, a film series featuring notable, popular and recent American releases from Hollywood. The Multiplex screenings will occur on the fourth Thursday of every month at 3 AND 6 p.m. Our next film showing will be BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD at 3 p.m., Thursday, January 26 in the Peninsula Center Library Community Room. This event is free and open to the public and seating is on a first come basis. 

Following the film, there may be a brief discussion facilitated by the coordinator of the series. The Peninsula Center Library is located at 701 Silver Spur Road, Rolling Hills Estates.
