She teaches at The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College, Pace University, and community writing centers. Mathieu Cailler is the author of seven books: one novel, two short story collections, two volumes of poetry, and two children’s titles. His stories, poems, and essays have appeared in over one hundred publications, including the Saturday Evening Post and the Los Angeles Times. He is the recipient of numerous awards, most notably the Shakespeare Award, the Short Story America Prize, the New England Book Festival Award, and the Los Angeles Book Festival Prize. His newest book is the story collection, Forest for the Trees & Other Stories (Hidden Peak Press, 2023), winner of the 2023 Paris Book Festival Prize for general fiction. Rosa Kwon Easton is a debut author whose novel White Mulberry, and Red Seal, the sequel, will be published by Lake Union, in a two-book deal, in fall 2024 and fall 2026. She is a lawyer and currently serves as a Trustee of the publicly-elected Board of Trustees of the Palos Verdes Library District. She is an Anaphora Writing Residency Fellow and a semi-finalist for the Sunspot Lit Goldilocks Zone short story competition.
