Create a lemon stamped canvas tote just in time for the summer!

Register for your Take and Make Canvas Tote craft at this link.
Sign up begins May 2nd through May 13th. 

Pick up your kit from your designated branch starting Monday, May 16, 2022 through May 31, 2022.
Last day to pick up your craft kit is Tuesday, May 31, 2022. (The library will be closed Monday, May 30th).

Drop by any PVLD library and pick up a kit with supplies and instructions for making a creative art or science project! Check here for locations and open hours. Take it home, and with your own basic supplies like glue sticks and crayons, you can create your own masterpiece!
Projects are recommended for grades TK - 5th grade, supplies are limited.

Summer Read-A-Palooza Bad Art

Come show off your best "bad" art! Each participant will be given a canvas that's been painted already. With other provided craft supplies, you'll have 30 minutes to make your canvas as ugly as possible. Participants will vote and the worst 3 will win a prize! Grades 6-12 only, no registration required.

Horticultural therapists Karen Haney & Arleen Ferrara will take you on a dive deep into the world of herbs and show you why herbs are some of the most beloved plants for horticultural therapy. Patrons will pot up basil plants, make lavender sachets to take home, and enjoy some homemade herbal iced tea.
